What I liked: All the stuff I liked in the first version still stands, plus:

I love the tinkering. I especially love that he's not an omg genius!!! at it and is limited to things which can survive being pried apart with a screwdriver. It's very realistic and endearing.

I love that the gloves focus his powers, and that he can't use them as effectively without the gear. I really adore that he needs to "power" himself by eating tons of food. I love the powers in general, and I really really adore his mech. I can't say that enough. Especially in the way it fits so perfectly with his abilities. (Go T-bird go!)

It manifests as Alan suddenly getting a "bad feeling" about something, kinda like how one's hair stands on end just before a lightning strike.

This sentence made me squee. This is what I'm talking about; everything comes together cohesively. I love it. :D

Suggestions: None, really. I'm eager to see how he handles the other pilots' powers, and actually seeing a real live dragon. XD
