Long time no post, hm? I think Dokucom's long overdue for a face change, but I can't quite bring myself to part with this one quite yet. At the least, I'm going to be making a new art page to host my art, which will (hopefully) actually be full. (I also need to link my devart gallery..) I've got two big announcements, though:
Firstly, I finally actually did it: idolarcher.com! Everything related to that comic/manga is now over there, so.. check it out! (Yes, I HAVE been updating the comic, even though I haven't posted about it here.)
Secondly, the site's undergoing a slight content/focus shift. It's become painfully apparent that I'm never going to finish any of these stories, because I really don't write. It's always been a struggle for me to sit down and get something on paper, and frankly, I suck at describing what's in my head - I see everything in terms of an anime (or at the least, a live-action movie), which just doesn't translate well into the written form. So for now, I'm scrapping all of that. HOWEVER, I'm not dumping all my ideas - I've just decided to shift them over to the format they were really intended to be in, which is that of the manga/comic.
So the focus of the site is shifting entirely over to art and comics (with some roleplaying stuff hanging about here and there). Do I think I even have a chance of getting to all this? No. But a girl can dream. I'm taking Idol Archer much more seriously now and trying to see if I can actally make something of this.
So for now, you'll find my present and future projects listed under manga, and yes, there are quite a few of them. (If any fantastic artists out there are looking for someone to do the writing half of a collaboration, I'm game. XD) All in all, this site is a big scruffy, and I'm hoping to get it up to snuff. Wish me luck, and thanks for hanging around!

I'm really, really sorry about this guys, but IA is going to be late. (I know, big surprise from the planet's most reliable girl, right?) I have fallen a little behind on commissions (one in particular turned out to be way more complicated than I'd thought) and although I have the next scene scripted out (which is, in my opinion, the hardest part), I haven't had a chance to sit down and start drawing it. On top of that, I've been really busy with my friends since my birthday's soon (the 19th) and I'm going back to college just after (the 22nd), so we've been trying to squeeze in a lot of stuff before I go back.. for those that didn't know, I live in Memphis but go to school in New York City, so me leaving is a big deal to my friends.
In any case, I'm really sorry for the delay - I'm going to see what I can do about getting something up before I go back, because I don't want this to be ridiculously late. I'm starting to wonder how I'm ever going to handle a real job, when I'm constantly missing deadlines. :) I'm going to try not to give a specific date but keep you updated; actually, the best place to go for an "up-to-the-minute" report is my livejournal. (I hope I'm not going to regret linking that.) So, anyway, please hold tight, because I really can't wait to do the next scene as it has both Fennel AND Caol in it (they are absolutely the best to draw), and Foxglove comes back, hopefully prettier this time around. I'm trying to push the plot forward but the characters keep dragging their heels.. I'll get to the plot eventually, I promise.

I have been offering them on the wonderful auction house FurBid for awhile and finally decided to advertise here too. Yes, it has happened, I am whoring myself for money. I really am desperate. Sigh. Lo and behold, I AM ALIVE! Yeah, you better quiver in fear. And look, a sign of the Apocalypse is at hand: I updated Idol Archer! Scene 2 is FINALLY OVER! (I am free!! ..Wait..) That means four new pages for your viewing pleasure. As I said on IA's main page, I'm going to try to get back into the habit of adding a new scene (8-10 pages usually) per month. I'm aiming at the middle of the month for right now, we'll see how that goes. This thing has really become a time-eater, it took me hours to colour those two damned pages with background shots! Stupid backgrounds! I realise I need to start putting in more, though, because otherwise my characters live in a world of white skies and swirly backgrounds.. and Talamh is really so beautiful I should be showing it off more! I just got back from Scotland at the beginning of this month, and I took a TON of pictures of the forests and landscapes there to use as models/guidelines.. since drawing trees is harder than it sounds. So expect more background stuff.
I just got back from Mud Island (yeah, Memphis folks in the hizzouse!) and I feel the need to point out that Better Than Ezra completely rocks my world. Go buy one of their CDs. Because I said so, and since I said it on the internet and have my own domain you must obey me. Go, netlings, and do my evil bidding. (Better yet, send me money so I can buy more of their CDs.)

Man, I am slower than a donkey on 'shrooms! I grossly overestimated the amount of time I'd have to actually get *work* done over spring break (example: I now have two 7 page papers to write for tomorrow and some Japanese homework.. d'oh). I only got one page of Idol Archer done! One! Pathetic. But that one page ate up an entire day! See how slow I am? I had lots of fun over break though and I'm all revitalized to get my butt in gear! (I miss my friends already though.) I have some new ideas about where I want IA to go and I've figured out some stuff that was previously unexplained so be happy! (GASP, you say, you mean Idol Archer has a PLOT? o_O)
Anyway, I need to finish this scene at least so I can start poking at other stuff; we'll see what I can get done! I'd love to say I'll have the scene finished by the end of the month but that's sooo close.. @_@ I'll see what I can do, ne? You've been patient with me this far! (She said to one Duo and three crickets. -__-;;)

Okay, so I'm a day late and a dollar short. Halfway through colouring page 13 of Idol Archer my cool grey 20% died. I use 20% as a base colour for like half the things in the manga - Sevrin's hair and jacket, Talyn's skin, etc. So it dying was very tragic. But I recruited my friend Em and we managed to find this really really great cheap place where I ended up buying TWO sets of cool greys because they were on sale. I was very happy. ^_^ Of course, we had blown most of the day out shopping (and going to Moby's tea house) but I still managed to finish page 13, so let me say (in bold!):
Idol Archer has new pages. Only two right now, but it's something, ne? I'll be adding more as I finish them. ^_^ (Secondary problem is that I think my script for part 2 is at home in Memphis.. >_<) Also, Idol Archer has a new poll, new fanart and art of my own, and I'm pondering a new layout (AFTER the current scene at least is done). This is a terrible week to revitalize dokucom since I have midterms (AAAGH) but we'll see if I can pull it off anyway. Still so much to do, but I'm taking it a teeny bit at a time (and I found someone - well, not someone, the marvellous Rei-dono) to beta Dementia for me -- YAAAY! ^___^). So we'll see, I guess. (I can't believe year 3 went by with only one update! Jeez!)

I swear to God, by the end of the month, Idol Archer will have new pages, I'll have put up everything I have of Dementia Praecox, the Charactorium will be updated, and basically everything will be better organized and spiffy clean. I also have two new projects (oh no, you cry, not another @_@) and I've applied to the VCL, so that should encourage me. ^^ I'm having some problems with Dementia; namely, I've asked a couple close friends to beta it because I suspect everything after chapter ten sucks majorly and needs to be rewritten. Neither of these friends has actually read the damned thing. x.x If you'd like to help me out, I'd really appreciate it, just drop me a line. As it stands, Dementia's 99 pages long in word, which I don't think is too bad a read over a week or so. Thanks.
I want to apologise to everyone who frequented this site in the past. I made a lot of empty promises and excuses when I didn't update when I said I'd would, and I refuse to do that any more. If I say "soon" I mean in the next week or so now. No more six month stretches. I need to get back to doing what I do.. well, not best, but. You get the idea.

We have a new layout, new format, and will soon have new content (besides the art that's been added, I mean!). Celebrate! T_T; I still have some art to add to Idol Archer, much more of Dementia to put up (I will be adding to it periodically from now on since all my college apps are finally done - glory glory hallelujah!), a layout to make for the Charactorium, and oh so much more. I'm not dead!! :D:D I'm glad you're all thrilled. OKAY, well, I'm finally getting out of AP Physics (the most Satanic thing in this universe) so hopefully I will have more time for.. stuff. I'm baaa-aack! I got back yesterday and I already have an update for you. Yay. :3 I have some other pictures to scan, but Mum's starting chemo next week so I have all this housework/yardwork to do to help out so I can't scan it all today.. T_T Anyway, Dramane has finally been updated! The scene isn't complete yet, but I decided to go ahead and put up what I have so far, so it just sort of cuts off. Sorry. ^^; There is also a teeny bit of tweakage on some other pages (most notably page two) but you probably won't notice it. And Ghost Stephen has become just plain ol' Ghost. :3; I keep wanting to redo certain pages, like the first five or so, and then some others, because it pains me to look at them, but I'm too lazy. ^^; At least you can see the improvement, ne? Uh.. ignore the ranty thing in the last update.. I wasn't in a good mood. X3; Anyhoo.. NEW DEMENTIA HAS FINALLY BEEN LAUNCHED! WOOOO! I promise promise promise I will try to keep up with it, and I also need to finish the last part of part one for Dramane (which I have sketched for cripes sakes, so why am I putting off finishing it?) before I turn my attention wholeheartedly towards Dementia. The day will come, friends, when I will work on dementia semi-daily (when I feel like writing) or dramane (when I feel like drawing) and there will be much updatedness.. but that day may or may not be soon because with the coming of the end of the school year I have been majorly slacking and I spend all my time at school catching up on assignments due later that day. X3 I'm bad. (But I still have all A's and a 3.8 GPA! Muahaha!)
Uh, anyway, the beginnings of new dementia are up with two new pictures.. some time within the next week or so I need to update dream senshi (which has been being updated independent of this page ^^;) and add that groovy pic Cat-sama drew me to the forest and I have a semi-nifty new layout for dokuja which is three times as morbid but half as groovy as the dementia one. ^^; Uhhh.. that's all. (Notice how the less actual updates I have the more I seem to talk? Ehehe.. ^^;;)

Updates-wise I've gone ahead and redone dementia for the new idea I talked about in my blog awhile back, so the story and character profiles are down and there's three new images and some of the old ones have suffered some editing to reflect the new character designs... I hope both people who come here like them. ;P
Please don't look at them and say "Oh, that's Kieran, and that's Colt, and.." Treat it like a new story. The characters don't act anything like they did before, anyway, so all they have in common is (in some instances) a name and some appearance similarities. Also, all of that crap is subject to change. Enjoy anyway. (And yes, I'm working on the story. Slowly. I'm also doodling things for the long forgotten NQA Girl.. wooo..)

Thanks to a 93 in history this six weeks (94+ is an A) my computer time has been restricted during the week, and on the weekends my parents stay in bed until like one in the afternoon, then make me do stuff with them and kick me off early. It sucks. =P Anyway. Updates. I made a totally new layout for the forest/Dramane Groves, plus there's one new manga page. That brings me up to a whopping eleven pages. =P I need a work ethic.. Lessee. Formally closed the Tannas Hollow RPG (eh, it's been in the works for awhile now) and I updated the Dream Senshi RPG - something new to apply for, plus we have a new character. Um.. beyond that, zilch. ^^; The wonderful Cat-sama has been drawing me fanart recently, though, and I think I feel inspired to work on dementia praecox soon..

I reaally need to type up BSMC, ne? ^^; I've been toying with the idea of rewriting dementia's beginning (cause.. um.. it sucks. =P and I get the most compliments about that site. what does that tell you about everything else? -_-;) but I think everyone knows I'm way too lazy for that. =P It's really not that long, I'm ashamed that I haven't finished it yet. Flurr. ^_^; Okay, no real consequential updates.. I've been secretly updating the RPG and not posting here. o.O; So, um.. just because the main page says it hasn't been updated doesn't mean the RPG hasn't. ^^; I think I'm going to try something kurai-ish and make an effort to update the updates page once a week, probably on the weekend. ^^; Um.. other than that, busted got a couple more reviews.. I had so many goals this summer (one of the first and foremost being to finish all of dementia praecox o.O;) that didn't even come close to being realized. -_-; I've been concentrating mostly on my stupid summer reading for school and on RPG characters, so the collective is very active right now. ^_^; Other than that, expect a definite increase in pictures as school starts and maybe some more writing, too. ^^; I've been distracted by a(nother) new project, as per my usual, which I'm not going to put up 'till it's all or mostly finished.
